Circaea canadensis

(enchanter's nightshade)

Habitat:Rich, moist, deciduous forests and forests edges, ravines and wet spots; also in swamps and along streams. The preference is dappled sunlight to medium shade, more or less mesic conditions, and a rich loamy soil with abundant organic matter.
